Whether it's struggles with budgeting money, working on important entrepreneurial projects, coping with the challenging political climate or simply handling the day to day hurdles of living in the city - we want to share 3 tips on how to keep you happy and mentally healthy this Summer!

OILS    OILS    OILS

Anxiety is very real and sometimes you need to take a moment in the corner to take some deep breathes while sniffing some essential oils. 5 oils that are proven to be helpful are: 1) Vetiver oil which has a tranquil, grounding and reassuring energy . 2) Yland Ylang oil helps with cheerfulness, courage, optimism and soothes fearfulness. 3) Bergamot is proven to help with depression or anxiety. 4) Chamomile benefits inner harmony and describes irritability, overthinking, anxiety and worry. 5) Frankincense is great for treating depression and anxiety because it provides a calming and tranquil energy as well as spiritual grounding.

WRITING CAN BE YOUR BEST FRIEND

Often times we thinking of diaries as juvenile but in fact they can become an important part of our learning, healing and growing process. Keeping a "Stress Journal" can be helpful in allowing you to be 100% honest with yourself so that you can begin to target the areas of  your life that stress you out. Trying to get to the root of your stress is key in learning out to dismantle it.

DOWNLOADING THROUGHOUT THE WEEK

It's customary for us to download at the end of long week; to recharge and refresh. However, finding time for yourself, by yourself to reflect should take place throughout the week. Whether meditating every morning or running alone every other day - you're finding a healthy outlet to keep you grounded so that your stress from the entire week is not piled on top of you.
