Mercury is in Retrograde from March 5th - 28th!

According to the New York Times:

This is the period when you …. “Do not sign contracts. Do not buy electronics, or anything with moving parts or gears. Do not be surprised if the mail is screwed up, or something goes awry when you’re in transit. And be mindful: You’re liable to forget something, like your glasses or phone.”

But what does Mercury in Retrograde mean?

Three or four times a year, planet Mercury is said to go retrograde — that is to say it moves in an opposite direction to planet Earth. Retrograde motion is an APPARENT change in the movement of the planet through the sky. (The same thing happens when our planet passes Mercury in our orbit around the sun.) Mercury is just moving slower than Earth, causing the illusion that it's moving in retrograde. It is not REAL in that the planet does not physically start moving backwards in its orbit. It just appears to do so because of the relative positions of the planet and Earth and how they are moving around the Sun.

It’s important to note that Mercury rules all types of communication, including listening, speaking, learning, reading, editing, researching, negotiating, selling, and buying. Mercury also rules all formal contracts and agreements, as well as important documents such as book manuscripts or term papers, agreements, deeds, contracts, leases, wills, and so forth. SO BE MINDFUL OF THIS DURING THIS TIME!

Here are some ways to stay one step ahead of the retrograde:

  • Be patient and easy going

  • Be meticulous and be as prepared as possible

  • Retreat to your comfort zone if you have to

  • Show gratitude despite the struggle

  • Don’t make any sudden moves or big decisions

  • Don’t sign any contracts

AT THE END OF THE DAY … YOU GOT THIS! : ) Continue to do your daily rituals that keep you grounded!
